I grew up in the piedmont region of North Carolina and spent my childhood drawing on the walls of my home and tossing uncapped markers up on the ceilings. I have always worked with any material I could get my hands on and enjoy learning different processes. I have experience with ceramics, both technically and artistically, but I'm particularly fond of fibers and textiles.
My work tells of the complexity of the human condition, and mainly focuses on relationships with my family and myself. I also like to explore themes of joy and whimsey in smaller works. I am currently a student at Appalachian State University expecting to graduate with a BFA in 2026.
